Music and Dyspraxia
Music taps into the emotional side of you and guides your spirit in which ever way you choose. It is a source of expression where you and only you decide how to play, listen or feel.
Children and adults with dyspraxia often hear the words can't, don't or shouldn't because it will be too difficult or will take too long. Patience is the key.
Musical skills are vital to developing the brain. They connect the right and left hemispheres together, improving finer motor skills needed in everyday life along with listening and speech development as well.
Let your child decide what instrument (s)he would like to play and we can take it from there. They have the option to change instrument if they don't like what they start with.
